The massive AHO 2.0 Citywide up-zoning Petition is NOT the way to address this important city issue

                                                              THE MISSING MIDDLE HOUSING PETITION
Designed for luxury (market-rate) housing, the "Missing Middle" will increase gentrification and displacement instead of affordable homes. Not only will this exacerbate affordable housing problems, but substantially increase the destruction of tree canopy. 

Conversions of current rental properties are not going to fix the affordable housing problem in Cambridge.

​The proposal is brought to Cambridge by national builders' groups seeking to profit from increasing land values, taxes & rents. The lack of oversight of the proposals and it goes against core tenants of Envision Cambridge. 

​We must do better.
